Designing Interfaces That Perform
A closer look at who I am, what drives my design process, and why I obsess over every pixel and interaction.
I'm Akinyemi, a UI/UX designer and Framer developer based in Lagos.
I got into this because I'm bothered by friction — a button that's one tap too many, a flow that makes someone pause and guess. Most of the projects I take on start the same way: a product that works, but users hesitate, drop off, or need explaining before they get it. My job is to close that gap, and honestly, finding where it breaks and fixing it is the part I enjoy most.
That's why I obsess over the details most people skip — spacing, motion, the order information appears in, how a screen responds the instant someone touches it. None of it is decoration. Every one of those choices either helps someone move forward or makes them stop and think. I'd rather spend the extra hour getting that right than ship something that just looks finished.
